Clementina van der Walt is a well-known South African ceramist who is known for her dynamic use of colour, often bright, but at times also grounded in muted earth tones. Clementina has developed a signature style, appealing to collectors all over the world. She works from her studio in Woodstock, Cape Town but also has a small studio and gallery called Kraaldoring Gallery in the Groenfontein Valley, 11 km outside of Calitzdorp in the Klein Karoo.

Photography. Owners, Catherine and Lawrance Brennon, both exhibit and sell
their work at the gallery along with 30 other ceramic and photographic
artists. Ceramists work include Clementina van der Walt, Hennie Meyer, Karen
Sinovich, Donve Branch, The Magwaza potters, Lisa Firer, Shelley Maisel,
Karen Kotze, Lynette Morris Hale, David and Sarah Walters, Lynley Watson
among others. The gallery is in a garden setting overlooking the mountains
and a welcome place of peace and rest.
